Consciousness with Conditions?

As my life flows down the land that surrounds me, I cannot help but feel the crevices that mark the land like so many stars. I have found a good heart in my Buddhist brothers... in the teaching of equaminity, i.e. "Compassion for ALL, both "victim" and "agressor". I have always felt this... heart and connection with all beings. The natural example is child molesters... my step father is one... I don't know the circumstances clearly, but he is convicted. For whatever reason my mother and him found a form of togetherness, and during my times with him, he has been a selfless lite. I had little reaction when I found out he did what he did. Others around us react with violence and rage... in the name of protection they become venom and death. I admit in one moment that "energy" came out in my presence, and I acted accordingly by removeing myself from the situation. But this was achieved without prejudice or anger. Moment to moment, dancing with the PRESENT, not the shadows of past, be they accused, illusionary, or "real".. the only Real is NOW, each moment is an oppertunity for a person to be a Buddha or a Demon... each decision is NOT bound my linear time... the unexpected can shine through, but rarely do people let themselves see what is not expected... in themselves, or others.

When I was homeless in Las Vegas me and mine stayed at a homeless mission... a place of charity set up by christian church's. The price of this charity was MANDATORY 1-3 hour sermon everynight by guest pastors. After a day in the sun with no resting place, the sermon's where torture that kept me from much needed sleep. Some pastor's where thunderously childish. One had a spark of understanding. Yet again and again I see this Christian Nation/Society... and similar formations, have this Grace with Conditions, Charity with Conditions... you must be assimilated, you must be fed our mental menstrations... or you don't eat, you don't sleep....

Equaminity... is shone if people believe something or not. If people are harmful or healers... Compassion still shines from the heart of the Mastersouls. This is what I aspire to, because adversion of one in favor of another is NOT justice or righteousness. It fuels the drama of hatred, to react to perceived evil with greater evil of venomous intentions.

If "evil" or harmfulness arises I will meet it in the Moment...
sometimes my mortal life just might not be worth "protecting" by fighting another
and sometimes my Presence is worth the whole Universe
the answer is not in belief's or desire's
the Moment shall Speak
hopefully not colored by my own prejudices and egotism's...
but even so, even if I fuel the fires of karma
i will not regret
for when I leave this body
I AM the Stillness
the hurricane of karma cannot touch me
I am here by choice, not by nessecity
this consciousness has no conditions
no one shall damn it or take it from me
and with this strength of Will
I shall allow the Good Heart to shine
for there is nothing to defend or hate
all that's left is to just... BE
